PART WILD HORSES... ADDED TO FAMILY BATTLE SNAKE!

This is shaping up to be a truly sick ass line up. I got a tickly feeling in my tum at one point...

Part Wild Horses Mane On Both Sides now confirmed as support! Wire magazine this month say they are part of the 'new' sound of Sheffield. I don't really know what that means but they are super duper.

SUDDEN INFANT + NIC BULLEN - DEC 13TH

Too pumped for words would describe Heat & Light's mood after confirming a gig with seminal performance artist Sudden Infant. Joke Lanz aka Sudden Infant creates an unique blend of physical sound-poetry and dadaistic vocal expressions, using contact microphones, prerecorded soundloops and noises. "Sudden Infant is Berliner Joke Lanz's artistic vehicle to both explore extreme physical and emotional states, and to hold on to the innocence of childhood" -The Wire.

The only time I’ve seen Sudden Infant perform he was running around the venue giving his son a piggy back whilst they both blew whistles – on a large screen was a video of someone taking a shit and straight after a woman with a giant bird head came on stage and threw glitter at us all. It was awesome.

THIS IS GONNA WORK

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came to the U.S. GIRLS show. I'm so glad we made this happen. Maybe the people who couldn't get there can make the next night we're doing. We got home in time to see Bruce Springsteen rock the superbowl halftime, knee sliding into a camera with his crotch and doing the guitar swing like 10 times in a row. AMAZING.
Next day, I took Meghan to the station, pushing through the extreme snow to make the train in time. London looks CLOSED for the day. Wow. Birmingham closed too shortly after for blizzard warnings.
